Paper is Paper . . . Or Is It

Paper is Paper . . . Or Is It Recently, Boise Paper reached out to us at Ms Career Girl and asked us to do a review of their paper office products.   Specifically, Boise X-9   Multi-use copy paper and Boise Aspen Multi-use Recycled paper.   The X-9 is   high quality multi-use paper, perfect for everyday printing and copying, while   Aspen is a recycled product that is available with 30%, 50%, or 100% post-consumer (recycled) fiber content- useful in any home, office or high-speed environment.   But paper is paper, right?   If youre like me, in the past youve probably just grabbed whatever looked like the best value.   That gets me to my point -is there a real reason that Boise Paper is Americas top selling brand? Whats Important In Paper? I asked myself, what qualities should I be looking for when selecting paper for my printer?   Thinking back to various paper-related disasters Id had in the past, heres whats important. Black ink doesnt bleed through the other side.   I really hate it when Im working on something important, and find that my paper is so thin that I can barely read the printing on either side. Paper doesnt jam in the printer.   OMG.   Why does that always happen when youre pressed for time?   And unless youre a printer technician, theres always that one torn, crinkled sheet that stuck so far down inside the printer that its going to take a Catholic priests exorcism to free it. Printed pages look good and colors pop.   Okay, so I get that I cant expect the colors on my screen to exactly match the color on the printed copy.   But green should be green, and the printing in general should look professional enough that no one suspects it might have come off a mimeograph machine. Documents should have a quality feel.   I really dont want my resume or important company report to feel like a flyer I found on the windshield of my car parked in the Starbucks lot.   Its better to make that first impression a good one, not one that elicits a smirk, frown, or groan. Ive had all those experiences.   And Im sure youve got your own stories of paper failures.   So theres plenty of reasons to go for quality when choosing paper.   Just one mess can erase all the imagined savings of opting for cheap, low quality paper. Boise Paper.   It Rocks. Trying a print run of both types Boise Paper provided, I found that both Boise X-9 and Boise Aspen met my requirements.   And, in addition to scoring on all the points above, there are several less obvious attributes of Boise Paper that makes it stand out. 99.99 % Jam-Free Guarantee. Made in the U.S.A. Content is responsibly sourced following FSC Forestry Certification and/or includes certified recycled content. Made with decades of consistent performance. These qualities prove that Boise Paper deserves to be deemed America’s Top Selling Brand of paper. I was not disappointed in the slightest by Boise X-9 or Boise ASPEN papers. From now on, I will keep a couple reams of each type around so that I can have high-quality paper ready at a moment’s notice. My Own Experience Nix the 99.99%.   I actually switched over to using exclusively Boise Paper a couple years ago.   I havent had a single paper jam.   And I print as much as anyone.   Beyond that, Ive found that it lives up to virtually every claim that Boise Paper makes.   That in itself is rather amazing in todays corner-cutting corporate world. Whats more important, though, is that I dont have any new paper disasters.   Thats something I hadnt paused to notice, but its greatly appreciated.   Boise Paper helps keep my business run smoothly, and makes my daily life just a little easier! Thank you, Boise Paper for providing paper with quality you can trust!
